Eh, I was close. This ep served as a better ep to close out this first season and yes, feather found and feather retrieved, but… it was a rather pointless episode. Nothing new was accomplished. Basically, they used up an entire ep to close things up when they could’ve just thrown it in at the end of the last ep. My best guess is because a second season wasn’t for sure when the last few eps were being finished. I can presume that if this show didn’t do well, they would’ve just ended the story here. So, they needed an ep that would serve as a better closing to the whole series instead of what occurred in the final moments of ep 25 but also allude to a continuation if they so chose to do one.
Tsubasa Chronicle [25]
Geh. Once again, we get another anti-climatic ending to a story. I needs more ass-kickin’ dammit. As if one prelude to a big bad bad guy wasn’t enough, now we got another. Ahhh, but it’s not that big of a complaint.
With one ep left, we head off to another world. I suppose they didn’t want to end the first season on a bad note (no feather retrieved). Then again, I only assume the last ep will have a feather AND it will be retrieved… but why else would you not just end it after this story arc? Let’s see how my anime guessing senses work this time around.
Tsubasa Chronicle [24] (For reals this time)
It’s just one surprise after another. Maybe my anime guessing senses are out of whack but I didn’t guess that chick to be the I-1 Oni. It doesn’t make sense, yet, as to why the game world had to be brought into reality for her to appear. Ahhhh, if only the whole series was this intense. I would’ve finished it by now. Well, two more eps!
Tsubasa Chronicle [24] (First 5 minutes)
Beh. Well, that was answered quickly. My guess was right, though it was too vague a guess to really be right. Stupid game. I totally didn’t see that one coming. I wouldn’t have guessed that no matter how long I pondered on it. Sure, many of the signs were there, especially with that one chick, or NPC I should call her, at the City Hall. Ugh, now I’m thinking back to all kinds of signs that could’ve led me to believe it was a game. Still, no way, no how would I have guessed. I just didn’t expect something like that to be in this anime. Ok, I should get back to this ep… hehehe. Damn this distraction called Xanga!
Tsubasa Chronicle [23]
Wow. Quite an unexpected turn of events. Seeing Fay “disappear” was a shock already but for Syaoran too. Then bump that “shock” up another notch when Sakura went with Syaoran. Well, at least it’s not a death. Besides the fact that the TITLE characters won’t be dying, this gives comfort in that they just went… um… somewhere… or something. This story arc is flourishing very nicely.
And what was up with half the people in this world disappearing. At first, I guessed this world might be digital in some way but after seeing Syaoran and Sakura disappear with a similiar effect, I’m not sure. If those people were real, why is it only some went and others didn’t? This mystery bothers me more then anything else currently. Ohhh, but I should stop being sidetracked and just watch the rest, hehe.
