I had several caps I wanted to splice together but due to race lines and other inconsistent backgrounds, none of them turned out right. They would’ve been hawt hawt hawt, too. Just like Sanae’s expression in the fourth pic above… ZOMG instant Sanae fanboy expression.

Gawwwwwwwd, I knew I couldn’t just enjoy this series. I felt so empathetic for Sanae throughout these episodes. I pitied her, felt sad for her and really hoped things would turn out in her favor by the end of episode 11. Especially when she needed to go full power… man, I kept hopin’ something would happen, like, god forbid Koushi being heroic.

Of course, that wasn’t the case.

I don’t know why I’m so riled up. Well, part of it is due to liking her character. Her normal personality is nothing unique as is her features but her drive to put herself out there like this to protect someone she loves, not as a duty, but loves… and for him TO BE A FUCKIN’ PUSSY… ARGHHHLKDJLSKJFLFJD.

It’s one thing that he can’t fight and has the chicks do the work but up until now, none of them had to humiliate themselves to do it. Ahhhhh… I don’t really blame Koushi or anyone but… SHIT.

Dammit, maybe it really is just cuz I like her. Up until now, she’s had no ulterior motives. All the other girls do. They’re not bad motives but they’re not doing it selflessly either.

Argh, seriously. Watching that last episode was heart-wrenching. Even through all the comedy, I was going nuts hoping something good would happen to her. Shit… something good better happen to her soon.

I still like Momoko and Iroha but… fuck them.

Koushi should hook up with Sanae. They match perfectly. Sanae never fights and alls good.

Ya know, 11 episodes and Koushi hasn’t exhibited even the slightest hint of martial arts skill. In all the cliches, the weak guy will be buff or cool every once in a while and of course, that’s how he wins over the chicks. Koushi hasn’t done that at all. He’s managed to impress Momoko due to using his brains but she’s so blind, she thinks he’s just buff, period.

Haha, I’m bitching cuz this isn’t cliche. Well, if he’s not gonna exhibit any skill, how the hell am I gonna respect him? He’s gotta be cool in some way or else eventually, I’m gonna chalk him up as another loser.

…or just hook up with Sanae and fuck it. Yeah, that works just perfectly.

I’ve lost a lil bit of interest now but not enough to stop watching. Things better pick up, ESPECIALLY FOR SANAE YOU FUCKERS!

This episode was pretty much a filler and episode 13 has a new intro so it might start up a new storyline. Just in case, since this one would be out of place, I’ll throw it on here… wasn’t much in this episode anyway.

So more or less, these episodes were for Iroha’s intro story. I like her character. If she continues to display both her personality types (the goofy “onii-chan!” + the serious “revive my clan!”), she can turn out to be an entertaining character.

The action scenes aren’t too shabby in this anime. They aren’t fully animated but the effects are nice enough. It’s not all still-frame shots with race lines so I definitely won’t complain.

Momoko whispering the “I love you” lines into Koushi’s ear was a riot. I laughed so much. Oh yeah, and when they left him totally hangin’ at the end of episode 5, hahaha. That was great.

So basically, the whole tiger clan issue was a set-up to go into the explanation of this potential war. The dumbass father could have told them sooner…

Haha, but the tiger dude, Tenka I think, was hilarious. All the scenes where he acted like a cat… priceless. He came off as such a badass at the start, too.

What’s up with Sanae?

She looked seemingly normal (left cap) up until the end of episode 7 then after she got socked (right cap), she was lookin’ all crazy.

I assume she’s the Tenchu Senshi crime-fighter. It only makes sense and it’s not unusual for her “meek and shy iincho” self to be an uber crime-fighter but… she was all weird at the end of episode 7. I’m sure it’s still her; it’s just that side of her was unusual. Am I thinking too much? Plus, she ran off. Like, she just ran off and never came back. I expected her to come flying in Batman style.

She’s popped in often but has never really been introduced properly. Wonder if her story is next?

Priceless. This series is too much.

It jokes around a lot, using comedy even during serious scenes, but those scenes plus the few times it really did try to be serious were done well. I’m getting more and more impressed with this series as I watch it. My expectations were vastly different so that could attribute to my positive feelings.

In any case, I am officially enjoying this anime. They’ve spent 7 episodes setting the story up and there’s still a character missing from this roster as Sanae isn’t officially in yet. I’d normally think that things are moving slow but in between the story setup is loads of comedy. The pacing is solid so far. Hope it keeps up nicely.

This is… this is… this is… shit, I don’t know.

I’m laughing and with the storyline kicking in at the end of episode 2, I’m also intrigued. I’m not too fond of lolis but I had to try it out, haha. It was recommended to me by a couple trusted sources but I kept putting it off cuz it looked way too silly. Granted, it is really silly but it’s genuinely funny as well.

Hell, it’s downright hilarious.

It helps that the MC isn’t a loser. Sure, he won’t fight but he’s smart, good looking and popular. How many MCs in harem anime/manga have those characteristics? (I think it’s harem, I made sure to read very little on this to not ruin things like I always do).

I love Momoko. Normally, I’d find a character like her annoying but her personality is so honest and pure (for her wanting to be with Koushi). Her voice is slightly boyish and thank god for that. If she had a voice that would typically go with her type of character, I’d have watched this anime w/o any sound.

Beyond that, I can’t say. I’m not sure if I like this yet. I find it highly entertaining but to like it… I’ll need a few more. And there will definitely be a few more. If anything, it’s too damn funny not to watch.

The storyline set up at the end of episode 2 might prove to be interesting. The comedy and characters (so far) are there and if the story can match up, this could turn out solid.

I hope Koushi isn’t as mean to Momoko later on, especially since she’s trying so hard to make him happy. It’s funny now but if it stretches it out too much, it’ll get annoying. I don’t want to hate such a unique MC!
