This ep slowed down the pace some. It seemed more of a setup ep for the final portion of this battle royale. Too bad, I was hoping for some more cool fight scenes. Hopefully this battle will get a move on cuz if it lingers for too long, it’ll get tedious. Not that it matters too much. I finally found out this story arc will go on for another 20 eps. Given how little there is left (I think), there will be plenty of eps that won’t do much more then stretch things out. Ahhh, but it’s still a lot of fun to watch.

Damn. More victims for the snake. Fuggin’ snake gets in the way of everything. Ahhhhh, last ep. I wants more but I gots no more.

Five left after three hours. Enel’s prediction may not be far-fetched. I can discount all the minions, so right now, the tally is at 2 for the baddies, Enel and Ohm, 3 (plus 1) for the Straw Hat crew, Luffy, Zoro, Robin (and Nami), and 1 (plus 1) for the Shandians, Wiper (and Laki). Going by that minimum, that’s still a total of 8. Take out Ohm and Laki and that’s at 6. One more of these guys have to go down for the “five” to happen… and it probably will. I’d guess Zoro since he always gets taken out doing something cool, heh.

I can’t find my One Piece episode guide site. I’m curious how many more eps are in this storyline. I guess it doesn’t matter since after this all out war began, every ep has been intense. Constant action with the usual comedy… and NO Ussop! It can’t get better then that.

Hmm, this reminds me of the one story arc in Hunter X Hunter during the hunter exam. The section where everyone was against everyone and had to hunt each other to get other (would-be) hunters’ badge numbers. There are some alliances but it’s basically a free-for-all.

Poor Chopper. He already had to deal with one priest and then he draws another. He was completely outclassed this time around. I just realized that the main fighters in the Straw Hat crew haven’t done anything yet. Sanji got taken out early, unfortunately, and Luffy and Zoro have just been… wandering around heh. Hahaha, stupid Zoro. He ended up back where he started… hahahaha.

But, it seems the big battles are gonna start soon. Zoro, Wiper, and the last priest, Ohm, are all together now along with the old god (forget his name.. since they always refer to him as “weird old man”). Luffy is sorta there… the big ass snake is there so I guess that implies Luffy is there, heh.

Shit. It keeps getting interesting and I only have one ep left.

Oooh, I think this was the first time Robin actually fought. I mean, hardcore fought. It was only an alright battle though. I loved her line at the end of the fight. After she basically breaks the dude’s back, she goes and says “what a cruel thing you’ve done.” Heh heh… there’s a hint of irony in that statement.

I forget all about what Robin is searching for. It feels like it’s been so long since I watched the Alabasta storyline. Ohh, but Robin needs a back story. Every Straw Hat Pirate has had a back story, usually when Luffy first meets up with them. Nami and Robin are the only exceptions. Nami was the 2nd to join up, after Zoro, but she didn’t have her story told until after Ussop and Sanji. Of course, “join up” was a loose term for her since she had different motives.

Ohh, but I digress. The storyline I stopped at in the manga had Robin as a key player. I can’t say if her back story would’ve been fleshed out since I only read a lil part of it but the fact that she was heavily involved was a good sign. I can’t wait for the anime to get to that storyline. It was quite intense from what I remember. A lot of unexpected things occurred. I sooooo wanna go back to reading the manga but I really do enjoy the anime more w/o reading. Partially because I don’t already know what’s gonna happen next and partially because it feels “fresher” since I’m not reading so much manga that I go into One Piece overload.

What a crazy war. Shit is just hitting the fan all over the place. It’s like a cruel lottery. If you draw Enel, you’re screwed. Now only Wiper remains for Shandia.

It’s nice to see Nami fight. She still don’t got much skills but at least it shows she’s not a pussy. That last scene when she took out Hotori was tight… or Kotori… one of them fatass brothers.

OMG Luffy is too funny. He chucks away solid gold cuz he wants food instead, hahahaha. I was bustin’ up on that last scene.

Elemental devil fruits are crazy. It was mentioned waaaaay back that there were only four types. Enel is one, of course. It was never mentioned but I can assume Luffy’s brother (I forget his name) is another cuz he wielded fire. Later on, in the manga, Luffy and crew encounter a guy using ice. That leaves one more element that I’m not aware of. I wonder what it is? Lightening, fire, and ice are the most common elements to use so the fourth one could be a lot of things. Water, air/wind, earth… and many others that I can’t think of right now. I’m so curious…
