This has got to be the simplest, most senseless and utterly pointless anime I have ever watched… and I don’t think I can stop watching. HAHAHA…
I was jotting my thoughts down while watching but I doubt I can really warrant an episode by episode break-down for this one. I had to note what I was doing because part way through episode 1, I wrote “this is slow… and weird… WTF i wanna watch more” and part way through episode 2, I wrote “WTH I can’t stop watching… this is too funny but it makes no sense.”
…HAHAHAHA… and it’s still true.
There’s no order or story to this show. It just jumps around from scene to scene and always consists of random conversations about a multitude of topics, some of which deal with the same shit I would talk about after watching anime or reading manga. It reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Seinfeld and George were pitching a show about nothing.
Get it? A show about nothing talking about a show about nothing… that’s just like this anime. An anime talking about anime and manga, hahaha. Did I really have to explain that?
It’s really hard to call this show a slice-of-life comedy since the subject matter is just so random. It does have that feel to it but it’s incredibly… incredibly… nonsensical.

Ah well, on to more important matters.
Konata is my new fave anime chick, hahaha.

Her facial expressions, her voice, her attitude… her character is just priceless. I can’t stop laughing when she talks and if I find a moment where I’m not laughing, she’ll say something totally random and make me bust up again.

Akira, who (thus far) only appears during the Lucky Channel segment at the end of the show, is also a riot. Her character is suppose to be cute but when she starts going off on shit with her “real” voice… OMG it’s hilarious.
It’s a parody of actors dropping character on film or some shit like that.
In any case, she cracks me up.

Oh, the ending credits sequence is cool. Instead of the usual, it’s just a shot of a closed door. The girls are behind in a room singing karaoke. The nifty thing is that each time, it’s a new sequence and a different song combined with random chatter among the girls. Hell, I actually watched the entire credit sequence for all three episodes.
Yes, I said “nifty.”
…holy shit, I actually did type a lot. Hahaha…
