Finished Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A’s and started up Noein, Gun X Sword, and Lamune.

I have no idea what it is about the two Nanoha series’ but they were so addictingly good. I call it “Sailor Ball Z.” Yes, it’s about magical girls but it’s also a show intended for guys… sounds strange but that’s the truth. I can’t comment much… I just know that it’ll go down in history as something I liked. Am I ashamed? Hell no…. maybe…. Idk. Once I figure out why I actually liked them then maybe I can find out.

Noein is more of a mind fuck then I expected. It’s different from the few things I read about. I’m not sure I want to keep following it but then I’ve only seen the first episode.

Gun X Sword started off alright. Everything I read about it is true. The MC looks like Spike from Cowboy Bebop, sounds like Spike and acts like Spike. Then the rest is like Trigun, except instead of a gun, the MC favors a sword but it’s all set in a western backdrop with futuristic technology. I didn’t expect the mechs though. I’m not too fond of mechs… especially when it’s kinda randomly thrown in. Oh well, guess I need more then one episode to make a judgment, huh?

I’m enjoying Lamune. A laid back romantic comedy. Reminds me of Ai Yori Aoshi, a manga I’m reading btw and am thoroughly enjoying. Way better then the anime.

I finally have a couple days off after work tonight so I can check out Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid. It’s complete and I have all the episodes but I kept putting it off for fear of watching it all in one sitting and losing sleep from it. Yep, I know exactly how I get with anime. The more I read about FMP: The Second Raid, the more I get interested. The first series fell a bit short, what with all the action and comedy not spliced together very well and the pseudo-second season, FMP: Fumoffu, was more of a side story filled with comedy. Of course, I loved that one. One of the funniest series’ I have ever watched. Anyway, for this official sequel, FMP: The Second Raid seems really really good. High ratings and reviews all over the place. I hope it’s not a let down.

Oooh, this anime blogging is kinda fun. Probably won’t last but at least for a lil while, this Xanga gets used.
