I’m so lost. It’s bad enough that I can only vaguely remember who some of the characters are… but w/o any explanation, they throw in a bunch of new one’s. It’s two years later and Nemu suddenly left and it seems they aren’t gonna explain why she did yet. They sure as hell didn’t in this ep. I scanned thru previous eps of Da Capo so I can try and recollect who some of the chars are but it only helped slightly. Geh.

The start of this ep was nice. They did some scenes that are always done in this type of anime but changed them up by using subtle inside jokes as if to parody them. Then, after those 10 minutes were up, they went straight into typical situations. That plus not really knowing the current relationship between the characters causes much disappointment. The MC is more immature then I remembered. I seriously hope he isn’t like this for long. I swear he was a bit more mature and real than this but it really has been a while since I watched the first season. I’d hate to have the stupid MC be the focus of my comments again.

Then, of course, you throw in yet another new char at the end of the ep.

Maybe I’m thinking too much into it… I mean, it’s only the first ep. Ahhhh, but I had hoped for it to be a lot better then this so it’ll keep my interest up. Now I’m wavering on my decision to pick-up this second season. Thankfully I only downloaded the first six eps so I haven’t commited myself to it yet…. not that it matters what I download. Of the 100% of animes I’ve downloaded, I’d guess I’ve watched less then 5% of them. How wasteful I am…. heh.
